Deadline for Making IRA Contributions
for 2012 | March 13, 2013 | No. 132

Taxpayers have until their tax return due date (not including extensions) to contribute up to $5,000 to an IRA for 2012 ($6,000 if they are age 50 by December 31, 2012). For most taxpayers, the contribution deadline for 2012 is April 15, 2013.
