Small businesses won’t have to file Form 3115 to comply with repair regulations. Small business taxpayers will be allowed to make certain accounting method changes under the tangible property (or “repair”) regulations without filing Form 3115, Application for Change in Accounting Method, the IRS announced.

New tangible property regulations have been issued by the IRS.
On January 16, 2015 the IRS issued two new Revenue Procedures; Rev. Proc. 2015-13 and 2015-14. These both will require a separate 8 page tax filing for all businesses and owners of rental properties.
